Resumen del libro

Fabian, a young man from a good family decides to assume an attitude of power that is common to the members of a small male chauvinistic society, in the middle of a racially mixed country. Privileged with money and power, he does not make concessions to life and decides to either take it all in or to succumb to it. His compulsive lewdness and madness, a hereditary disease common in isolated towns of some South American countries, is the theme that links this story.
